A bold exploration of color and movement, this kiln-formed glass vase features a full spectrum gradient wrapped in layered circular textures. Warm reds and oranges melt into vibrant yellows and greens before transitioning into cool blues and soft violets.
Each circular motif is individually layered before firing, creating depth, dimension, and subtle opacity shifts throughout the surface. The sculpted fold form is achieved through a drop firing process, allowing the glass to flow naturally into its organic shape.
The result is both playful and architectural — a functional vase that also stands alone as contemporary glass sculpture.
Watertight and designed for fresh flowers.
Each piece is kiln-formed in my Missouri studio through multiple firings, making it one-of-a-kind.
